In America today, 1 in 6 kids faces hunger. Working with local partners across the country, No Kid Hungry is ending childhood hunger by ensuring that kids get the food they need, like healthy breakfast at school and free meals during the summertime.
Through July 22, guests who visit any Fogo de Chão location in the U.S. and Puerto Rico from July 9 – July 22 will receive a $25 dining card (valid toward the purchase of two dinners from July 23 – September 30) when a $5 donation is made in-restaurant to No Kid Hungry, a national campaign that is ending childhood hunger in America by connecting kids to food programs that work.
Every dollar counts, and each $5 donation can provide up to 50 meals to the children who need it most (each dollar connects a child with up to 10 healthy meals). Learn more at nokidhungry.org/onedollar. There’s much work to be done as one in six kids struggles with hunger every day in the United States.
The $25 dining card is valid with the purchase of two dinners and may be redeemed from July 23, 2018 – September 30, 2018. Redemptions limited to one dining card per table.
Fogo de Chão (fogo-dee-shown) is a leading Brazilian steakhouse, or churrascaria, specializing in the centuries-old Southern Brazilian cooking technique of churrasco – the art of roasting high-quality cuts of meats over open flame, all of which are carved tableside by Brazilian-trained gaucho chefs. Founded in Southern Brazil in 1979, there are currently 52 locations throughout Brazil, the United States, Mexico, and the Middle East.
Fogo’s distinctive and authentic Brazilian dining experience begins with the seasonal Market Table and Feijoada Bar, which includes seasonal salads, soup, fresh vegetables, imported charcuterie and more. The restaurant features a variety of simply seasoned meats that are fire-roasted by gaucho chefs, plus seafood, desserts, signature cocktails and an award-winning wine list. In addition to the full churrasco experience, Fogo offers its guests multiple ways to enjoy the experience at varying price points, including weekday lunch starting at $15, weekend Brazilian Brunch and a newly enhanced Bar Fogo menu that features smaller, sharable plates, Brazilian-inspired cocktails and happy hour.
